200CD Audio Oscillator

The 200CD audio oscillator was introduced in 1955, replacing the 200D. The list price at that time was $150. This is a useful wide range oscillator for audio or ultrasonic tests.

Specification:
  • Frequency response 5Hz to 600kHz in five bands.
  • Accuracy +/- 2%. But these days just set the output frequency with a digital counter.
  • Frequency response +/- 1dB, referred to the 1kHz output level.
  • Output maximum level 20v open circuit, 160mW (10v) into 600 ohms.
  • Distortion: 0.2% from 20Hz to 200kHz
    0.5% from 5Hz to 20Hz and 200kHz to 600kHz
  • The output is designed to match a 600 ohm impedance, and can be used balanced or unbalanced.
