This is a basic ac/dc five tube radio made by the General Electric Company.
Restoration was just a matter of a good cleaning, replacing electrolytic and paper capacitors,
four out of spec resistors, and two tubes. The replacement electrolytics are secured to an adhesive
cable tie pad.
The speaker and internal antenna in this radio had been replaced at some
in it's life.
The power cord was changed for one with a moulded on, polarized plug, and a fuse fitted. On the
right are the before and after chassis pics. Yes, before is at the top.
