1920's Dr.Pepper BottleThis is an embossed 6 1/2 oz "Good For Life" bottle which I believe was used in the mid 1920s. It looks the same as the bottles used in the 30's and 40s, but the lettering is embossed not debossed. The back has the 10-2-4 clock logo, also embossed.  |

![]() There is also an embossed Dr.Pepper logo on the bottom of the bottle, together we a small number "6" which I am guessing is a date code for 1926. The 10-2-4 clock logo was introduced in 1926, so this would agree with the date of the bottle. The embossed logo was discontinued after three or four years as it was too easily damaged, which was not desirable for re-useable bottles. |
